The Story Tree - Green Libraries Commission Celebration

Description

Come and celebrate The Story Tree arriving at Royston Library! Artist Bethan Maddocks has worked with Library groups such as Crafty Chat and the Readers group as well as Better Lives and Parkside Primary School Library Leaders to create a giant paper oak tree celebrating the National Year of Reading. Look into the branches to spot acorns, leaves and paper recreations of popular book characters! The event will also include a free drop in workshop for adults and children so that visitors can work with Bethan to make a paper creation to add to The Story Tree or take away.
