Read to the Beat! Drumming Workshop

Description

Join us at this interactive and hands-on ‘Read to the Beat!’ themed drumming workshop. Over the course of the hour children will explore how lyrics and rhythm combine to create some of our most beloved songs. There’ll be boomwhackers and hand-drums, buckets and djembes, and maybe a bit of singing along, too! All levels welcome, no prior musical experience required. Delivered by Keith Ramskill of Live 2 Drum. This workshop has been funded through the Reading Agency’s Summer Reading Challenge 2026 Outreach Project, supported by The Julia Rausing Trust.
