Summer Reading Challenge: Disco and Draw party

Description

Put on a pair of headphones, listen to a specially selected music playlist, and let the sounds inspire your creativity. Create your own artwork as the music sparks ideas, colours and imagination. No drawing experience needed – just come along, relax and enjoy a unique creative experience. Join us for a fun musical craft where you’ll design and make your own rattle instrument. Decorate it with colours and patterns, then use it to create your own rhythms! This is a free session but places must be booked. For ages 4-11. Under 8s must be accompanied by an adult. This craft session coincides with our SRC theme – Read to the Beat! This aims to encourage children to explore the connection between stories and songs, discovering how reading and music both ignite imagination, self-expression and creativity.
