Eco Summer Art Camp: Helen Brook (Ages 8-11)

Description

Create your own handmade nature journal from beautiful seed paper in this fun, hands-on workshop inspired by the outdoors, with artist Helen Brook. Using leaves, flowers and natural materials, we'll explore botanical printing, leaf rubbings, texture hunting, collage and mark-making with natural inks and simple tools. Together we'll discover creative ways to observe and record the small details that make nature so fascinating. At the end of the session, you'll take home your own unique journal, ready to fill with sketches. IMPORTANT BOOKING INFORMATION *This Eco Summer Art Camp session is for children ages 8-11 who are happy to work with artists and library staff independently without parental supervision. Legal guardians must consent to their attendance and will be contacted about safeguarding procedures and relevant information after booking.
