Sewing Workshop

Description

Drop in and take part in a creative textile workshop led by a local artist working with communities across South Yorkshire. Help create a vibrant community banner celebrating reading and the library’s newly refurbished building as part of the National Year of Reading. Participants will design fabric patches inspired by their favourite books using fabric paint, stamps, beads, and embroidery, with the opportunity to try free motion machine embroidery. All contributions will form part of a final banner to be unveiled at the library.
