Author Liz Champion on surviving midlife

Local author Liz Champion has written four books, all taking a humorous look at the highs and lows of everyday life. Her latest, Before Work and at Weekends, is a collection of essays about midlife - capturing what it means to be a 40-something woman who wonders how the hell she got here. It is published in early April and you will be able to buy a copy at this event. Honest, awkward, and all-too relatable, her stories are quick to find the funny side of life. Liz has many happy memories of visiting Barnsley Libraries as a child, and she will also discuss her love of reading.
