Create your own Penistone scene with artist Lucy Pimpernel Wood

Join Lucy Pimpernel Wood in creating a local Penistone scene using frottage and stencil framing. You will work with tactile surfaces and a self selected colour palette to show locations such as the Trans Pennine Trail, The Showground, The Paramount Cinema and The Viaduct. The piece will be yours to take away and keep and the technique you will learn is one that can be used again and again. Lucy graduated in Fine Art graduate of Liverpool John Moores University and is Head of Art at a school at Stocksbridge High School. Living and working in Penistone, she is well known for her depictions of the town past and present, using paint to record the history of the place. In recent years she has been selected for Arts Council England commissions and her work is featured in prestige public and private collections.
