Summer Reading Challenge Crafts: Gnome Stones

Description

Children will have the opportunity to paint stones to look like gnomes using their creativity, listening, and speaking skills. These will make great garden ornaments. This event is suitable for children aged 4 and above. The activity will involve designing the gnome and sketching it onto the rock, and then painting the design. This craft is linked to the Summer Reading Challenge and the theme this year is 'Story Garden', so look out for more nature themed crafts over the summer. Children who are part of the Children's University will be able to earn a stamp for undertaking this activity.
