Description

Nick Oldham has written dozens of crime novels, including 31 in the highly addictive, Blackpool-set ‘Henry Christie’ series, which he’s now developing for TV. Nick’s books have been praised for their ‘gritty realism, heart-pounding suspense and complex plots’ – no doubt inspired by his time as an Inspector with Lancashire police, which he quit to write full-time. His most recent creation ‘Jessica Raker’ is a firearms officer who leaves the Met and moves North to work, with an organised crime gang hot on her tail. The first book ‘Death at Dead Man’s Stake’ will be followed by the second Raker novel, 'Death on Wolf Fell’, later this year. Nick also produced the ‘Steve Flynn’ trilogy of books about a former Royal Marine and ex-policeman now living in The Canary Islands.
