Get Online Week - Digital Drop-in

Join us at the Lightbox for Get Online Week on Thursday, 17th October 2024, from 10 AM to 12 PM. We will be promoting a variety of digital services to help you feel more confident about your time online. Our Digital Engagement Officer will be there to show you our digital resources and other guests include Adult Skills and Community Learning who will be asking you to play digital skills bingo. The Household Waste and Recycling Team are coming to help you apply online for a pass for their centres and Barnsley Citizen's Advice will be there to talk about their new digital inclusion project. South Yorkshire Police can also advise about cyber security and avoiding online scams. We also have Barnsley Museums and Archives and Local Studies. Get Online Week is the UK's largest digital inclusion campaign, which helps to close the digital divide so no one is left behind. It supports people to feel safer and more confident online through fun, local community events.
