Description

Over three workshops use natural indigo and traditional techniques to turn fabric into a flag inspired by Ghana’s Asafo ‘story’ flag tradition for display during Black History Month. Participants are encouraged to attend all three workshops to complete their own flag. Fabric Dyeing: Sat 21st September 11am – 2pm Flag making: Sat 28th September 10am - 1pm Flag making Sat 5th October 10am – 12.30pm Celebration Event: Wednesday 23rd October 5.30 – 6.30pm These workshops will be led by artist Izzy Dabiri.
