Description

Join us on a journey through space and time! To celebrate British Science Week 2024, Roundhouse Library is hosting a mobile planetarium which will bring the wonder of the night sky to your local venue! Come along and join in the adventure as we gaze at the night sky, as seen from Barnsley on a cloudless March evening, and explore the planets of our Solar System as well as talk about exciting space missions that aim to tell us more about our Universe. The adults only showing is at 5:30pm-6:30pm. The mobile planetarium is an intimate venue, with room for 25 people. You will be asked to take your shoes off to enter. Most of the audience will be sitting on the floor (cushions provided). A small number of chairs are available for those who require them. The planetarium is wheelchair accessible. Please contact us at the time of booking to let us know of any accessibility requirements. Please book a place per person attending.
