Penistone author Chrissie Yates will talk about her novel, ‘When Evil Walks Amongst Us’ – the first part of an exciting new trilogy. The book centres around four women who have been friends from childhood in the fictitious town of Penton, situated at the foothills of the Pennines. They are plunged into the terrifying world of organised crime, with the apparent murder of one of their husbands. What are they prepared to do to protect one of their own? Chrissie said: “I would hope readers of crime fiction in South Yorkshire would enjoy and identify with what I’ve created.” Books will be available for sale / signing.
