Lantern Making Workshops

Description

Make your own lantern and be part of Barnsley Bright Nights illuminated parade! This FREE activity is suitable for children aged 5+ only. Children must be accompanied and supervised by an adult at all times. Join artist Gordon Banks who will help you design and make a polyhedra lantern using the theme of ‘Bright Futures’ as inspiration. Once you’ve made your lantern these will be stored and at The Lightbox and be available to collect on Saturday 26 November from 5pm so you can take part in the Barnsley Bright Nights parade finale starting at 6pm. Please book ONE ticket for EACH child attending (adults do not need to book a place). No experience is needed and all materials will be provided.
