Barnsley Youth Dance lead this fun workshop exploring contemporary dance & self-expression. Taught by professional dancers, the session will introduce contemporary dance technique including floor work & travelling exercises. They will also learn a short dance phrase which they can take home & enjoy performing for family members. To finish off, participants will explore improvisation & creative choreographic tasks - encouraging them to connect with, & express, their own individuality. Age guidance: 7 to 13 years. No previous dance experience required. Please book a a place ONLY for those taking part on the activity (accompanying parent/guardian do not need tickets).
