If you have any queries please email eventplanning@barnsley.gov.uk Professional dancer Erica Mulkern leads a ballet-based warm up focusing on articulating the body before teaching you two pieces of repertoire from Don Quixote. Participants do not need to be en pointe and is only encouraged for those who have trained intensively en pointe for more than 5 years. While these variations are made for female characters, Erica encourages all identities to take part in this session and learn the repertoire. Age guidance: 13 years and over. A prior knowledge of ballet terminology and steps is highly recommended. (RAD Grade 5+ as a rough guideline).
