Join us to share stories, songs and rhymes from childhood, near and far! We are celebrating a collaboration between Barnsley Libraries and Feels Like Home which inspired group members to share stories, songs and rhymes remembered from childhood, in their original language. These stories have been collected into a multi-lingual book which will be launched during the event with readings from group members and books gifted to those who attend. We will also enjoy sharing stories, songs and rhymes remembered from childhood and we look forward to hearing those songs or stories you remember your parents or grandparents sharing with you! We welcome all ages, all abilities and all nationalities - so whether you've an old Barnsley rhyme you'd like to share, or a favourite song from your childhood further afield, we'd love to welcome you. There will be a variety of refreshments available. The event is suitable for all ages and will be child-friendly with a space for colouring.
